Here's Another Important Reason Why You Should Always Put Your Seat-belt On

Being a Delhite extended weekends for most working professionals mean a trip to the mountains. Carrying forward the bandwagon I decided to explore Mussoorie in the monsoon (never do that). So, a series of unfortunate incidents made me learn this crucial fact about air bags.

Your air bags won't work if you don't have the seat belt on

We fell down to 50 ft and they didn't pop up, can you imagine that? And no I am not writing this from hell, we fortunately survived the whole incident.

Air bags are definitely not a substitute to seat belts, they work in coordination to save lives. Without seat belts on, the air bags are not that effective and can cause injury depending upon how you end up when they are fired.
There were many cases in which the occupants were killed due to severe head injuries or were injured badly because the airbags deployed when they were not wearing seat belts. Ruptured lungs or broken rib cages were also reported. That is why some cars will not 'arm' the airbags to avoid the damage.
Seat Belt Funny Warning
This is sadly true
Without the seat belt, air bags can cause as much injury as an accident

Spooky, right? I learned it the hard way. Hope this article will help you guys, drive safe and always wear the seat belt.

A simple love story, the best ever.

A strange thing happened today. A man in his mid-30s took a seat near me in the Metro. After a while, I realized he was saying something. Needless to say, I was annoyed a bit. Who want to be bothered while listening to music? “What?”, I asked hoping it better be something important. He said, “Do you have something to listen to?”. Of course, dumbass! Why else would I be plugging my earphones on, I thought to myself but only managed, “Yeah, obviously” as politely as I could. The man didn't say anything but the social protocol made me offer him “something to listen to”. He inquired if I have 80s English music to which I interred,” In the End by Linkin Park is the oldest song in my phone.” To which, he said “In the Mohabat Barsa Dena hai?” attempting a lame joke. However, I faked a smile—again for social protocol's sake. I played that song and offered him one end of the earphone.

Minutes passed by and the song was about to get over. I thought I was done with him when he requested, “'Can we please listen to it one more time?” as if the song was Kohinoor diamond itself! I wanted to listen to Shady but going by his love for the song, I put it on repeat. I was snoozy after the fourth time listening to Arijit Singh's over-sweet melody. Just then, he turned to me and exulted, “You made my day”, even though I was not at all interested to start a conversation but curiosity killed me. “What makes you like the song so much?” I questioned. He turned uncomfortable, turned away his face and mumbled “I love music” with a stutter. I figured out he was hiding something but anyway added, “We all have memories to each song and only that makes us listen to a song on a loop.” He chuckled and said “Achha?”

“There was a girl,” he revealed after 2-3 minutes of minutes. “Aha, I knew it. So your wife?'' I asked with increased interest. “'No, we have an affair for 23 years,” he boasted. “Why don't you marry her?” the relationship advisor from within suggested. “Can't” he said. “Family problems?” I turned CID.

“No, she died last month,” he said getting up from the seat and moving towards the Metro gate, I was in shock and being a person with zero social skills, all I could ask was “Is this your station?” trying to change the topic to make him feel better.

“It was four stations ago. Just that she used to like this song very much so I got emotional,” he explained before shaking my hands and thanking me. It was indeed the sincerest thanks I ever received and for what? Keeping an Arijit Song in my phone with 800 others party numbers?

He was no Shah Jahan. He didn't build a Taj Mahal for his love but the sincerity in his eyes was no less. I have never written a post so long but this common man deserved it for his extraordinary love.

PS: Wrote this on the rest of my travel time with the same song... still on repeat.

PS: I travel a lot in Metro. Help me buy a car. Please donate.

The basic characters of every Fiction, Hollywood Movie.

Being a 90s kid, I have always been a fanatic of Hollywood movies that made me sit on the edge of my seat & often even made me take popcorn from the bucket of the stranger sitting next to me (okay, I was just hungry). But by closely watching all these movies for years, I 've started getting to the nerve of the movie and while watching the new Jurassic World I could almost guess fate of every single character at the end of the movie. Lets look at the basic characters in every such movies with the reference from Jurassic World as it is the recent one we all must have seen. Here goes ..

1. The over smart asshole

Bad Guy Jurassic World

This guy has his own selfish motive and puts everyone's life at stake for his own benefit, needless to say he dies a very painful death by the end.

Other example

Villain of Anaconda

2. The invincible hero

Jurassic World Poster

The lead is riding with the raptors, getting in the cage of furious 50 feet dinosaurs, cornered by a T-rex but you know he won't die.

Other Example

3. The emo angle

Wallpaper of Jurassic World

These people have not a single threat from the problem at hand, they can even survive if they are chewed up by a razor toothed Dinosaur, stabbed by a ghost or even meeting someone like Just Beiber. They are the safest person to be with in cases of epidemic.

Indominus Rex Dinosaur
The part where the Indominus rex pins down the kids.

Other Example

Jurassic World Kids
Kids are usually the emotional aspect who bonds with their relatives over the course of such movies.

 4. The glamour quotient

T-rex Jurassic World
The part where Claire becomes faster than Usian Bolt, IN HEELS.

She is the beauty with brains, she is witty, funny & sexy (read immortal). How else do you explain a lady in heels running faster T-rex.

5. The sweet guy

Jurassic World India Guy
Irrfan Khan in Jurassic World

He is neither an evil or a saint, such guys often dies to make the movie more impactful.

damini

7th Sky in the Heaven : Faking News is growing day by day, the global reach of this satire news website leapt forward by miles when our journalist managed to break in the heaven’s door for an exclusive interview with Nibhaya aka Damini aka Amanat.
Nirbhaya , Cheerful and Lively in Heaven .
The goddess in the human form seemed quite happy in the company of Angels and other Godly creatures, her will-power and courage was evident even after going through such a terrible experience.
She was frank and spoke her heart out about the atrocities and how she managed to leave the world with a big smile . Here is a part of the conversation :
Reporter : Hello, First of all a big salute to you Ma’am !
Nirbhaya : Thank you so much.
Reporter : Can you talk about it all , Can I ask questions ?
Nirbhaya : I battled it through 14 days , do you think I don’t have such a little bit of courage to just answer your questions ?
Reporter : Sorry, Okay so how does it feel. I mean you heard the revolution you gave birth to right ?
Nirbhaya : Oh Yes , I did indeed . The media in here is pretty active too ( Chuckles ) . It is great , the way youth gathered seeking justice in front of Rashtrapati Bhavan was really an emotional moment for me .
Reporter : You saw some change in the society ?
Nirbhaya : Well , The sales of Pepper Spray has sure gone up Haha . Apart from it , unfortunately nothing good has come . There are many cases of Rapes being reported even after my tragedy , the Police is clueless , the Politicians fart out stupid statements , the People still think it was my mistake in the first place by roaming around late at Night .
Reporter : Do you think your Plight was being used for Politics as well ?
Nirbhaya : Don’t say it “Plight” , those animals attacked me and I resisted pretty well , I guess .
And yes , those People do crazy stuff for their position . But the one thing I enjoyed immensely was the Arnab Goswami confrontation of Abhijeet Mukhrji about the Dented and Painted Women .
Reporter : You heard about the Suicide of Ram Singh ?
Nirbhaya : I told you before also , India TV’s TRP consists of folks from Heaven too , but yeah there is no Stairs to here :p .
He was a coward Man , Well , I should say a Woman , actually ohh wait definitely a eunuch . He got away pretty easy , I wished he was to be burned alive . Not as my revenge but to establish a fear of law in the minds of Criminals .
But yeah , I would send a message to the Devil to be prepared with an Iron Rod instead of a Vessel of Burning Lava and a Whip .
Reporter : Any views about the Juvenile ?
Nirbhaya : That was the most evolved animal of those men , Sure he might not have the age of 18 but if he can do it then he must also bear it .
Reporter : Heard about your Result ?
Nirbhaya : Ohh Yes , It is good . Sorry Papa wanted to make you Proud and be a successful Doctor  but it wasn’t meant to be .
Reporter : Your Dad also is a man of steel Nerves .
Nirbhaya : Of course , where do you thing I got my strength from huh ?
Reporter : Any message for the Girls of Delhi ?
Nirbhaya : Girls be safe , stay on your toes all the time . I am not saying to run away , just be prepared , you can’t trust anybody here . Sure , “Don’t teach your Daughter how to Dress , teach your Son how to behave” make a very good status , but the ground reality is that you are not going to see a change in the mindset for at least a generation or so .
Reporter : This Women’s Day , US awarded you for your Courage . How does it feel ?
Nirbhaya : Well , Feels great . Being an inspiration for so many girls who live in a scared state of mind is a big thing . In a male dominated society I got a treatment next to God , the only bummer was that it was after my Rape .
Reporter : Thak you so much for giving us your time .
Nirbhaya : It okay . I am enjoying my time here , no worries no rush . Soon I will be back there , Would urge God to send me back to India , hope so this time the Country would treat me better , treat like human when I live .
Reporter : Any message for your Family ?
Nirbhaya : Mommy Daddy and my Cute Bhai , I love you all . The way we were separated was really tragic but I made you Proud right ? I would try to come back in the family , I would convince god to do so ;) . Miss me , Love You .
And to the rest of the world , I am not a Victim . I am a fighter , a Martyr . I should live in your heart till the doomsday comes . Treat girls right , No privilege , just be human with them .
*Intended to send a message , Sorry If Hurts Anybody*

The Hills have Ice

"Arey yaar iss saal New Year Goa mein hi manayenge" was the consensus on 20th December, so we finally executed the plan..... and it was a trip to Manali in March end.

You must have guessed it by now that it is a travel blog yet again. Summarizing it even further, this is the 6 day experience of our trip to Manali-Solang-Dharamshala-Maclodganj.

Preface

We booked a tempo-traveler for the whole trip. The 14 seater vehicle served as a second home for us for the following 6 days. However the driver we got stuck with wasn't that easy to go down the throat. The right description would be the character Nana Patekar played in Taxi No. 9-2-11, the man was a live version of that irritating frustrated character. Even though we managed to find out a fun way to deal with him, he deserved a special acknowledgment in this blog.

The Satan - Mr. Tiwari
Day 1

The plan was to leave Delhi by 1 PM atmost and we left by 6 PM (Trust me, still good enough). The energy level were soaring high at this time. After couple of "Baby Doll", "Saree Ke Fall Sa", "Gandi Baat", "London Thumkada", "Palat" and "Chaar Botal Vodka" we started settling.

The journey went smooth for some hours but then came the whirlpool of roads. Soon the excitement was overshadowed by the sour clouds of expected vomiting and nausea. The joyful ambiance was soon replaced by the scene of a epidemic hit village, where few healthy were taking care of others.  The night went by with vomiting & tea breaks.

Day 2

After the suffering (English wala Suffering) of day one we were in Manali. The worn out spirits were once again rejuvenated after seeing the snow covered mountains and the aesthetic beauty of the place. The first thing we did was finding a nice hotel and getting ready after the crazy last night. It was a lazy day and we could only get out of our room in the late afternoon. We went shopping and visited some nearby temples and stuff.
Night in Manali
Day 3

The third day and undoubtedly the most eventful day started early for us. After setting a target of starting the journey to Solang by 7 AM we could only manage to get rolling by 10. (For those of you who are not familiar with Solang stop for a while and Google the place for some images) The idea was to play in the snow for whole day long. Being from Delhi we weren't equipped for the harsh weather that the snow would offer, so we rented a full proof winter gear for everyone.

After a 20 minute tipsy drive we were there .. yes, ON THE SNOW ! Most of us were experiencing Snow for the first time (Excluding the Freezer's Snow) so the excitement was quite justified. The snowball fights started in no time and soon the friendship turned into playful rivalry. The time went by at Bolt's pace and we realized its been 3 long hours since we were doing the snow war.

Playing in the snow

Just then some Parachutes at a distance caught our eye and came an instant suggestion, " Chalo Paragliding karenge". The idea was fascinating but could only muster up 5 people out of the total 12. The setup was scary, the majestic mountains all around and jumping from almost clouds onto the ground was sending chills down everybody's spine. Chanting the overused "Darr Ke Aaage Jeet Hai" slogan we went ahead.

The jumping spot was on around 30K Feet.we had to use a rope-way for half the distance and walk on thin slippery ice for the rest half. After around 30 minutes of struggle we reached the starting point. As the instructor was tying the parachute on me I asked, "Any Instructions?". "Run .. Keep Running and Jump" he said in a monotonous tone.

So I ran .. and soon I was a bird ! The most amazing feeling a human can ever get , TO FLY ! (the 2nd most technically ;), you know the first one) The view from above was just heavenly, the hills .. the snow .. the tall tress .. all were looking small to us. The beauty and ambiance kidnapped the fear for a while. It was the 5 minutes of ultimate freedom.

View from the top

Now we were done with all the adventure activities the local business people were offering, so now we created our own adventure. We climbed a snow covered mountain that must be of the height of a 8 to 10 story building and started sliding off it .. Trust me, I had never experienced so much of fun and excitement even on a ride of an amusement park. *Would soon upload a video of it*

After spending almost 12 hours in the cold harsh snow we decided to head back to hotel as the temperature was dipping ruthlessly. We had ice in our boots, gloves and thanks to the pranks I had some in my private parts too.

"Chalo tumhe aaj uss hotel le chalta hoon jahan main rukta hoon" said the Satan driver of ours. We were all a bit skeptical, "Yaar jahan ye rukta hai wahan !" but we decided to not reject him on the face and said "Ha chalo dekhte hai".

After around 30 minutes of his horrifying driving we were in front of the hotel *The grandest and best hotel we stayed in the entire trip* Huge rooms, Changing room, Lavish bathrooms with bath tubs, a mammoth LCD on the wall and what not ! The India vs Australia match was an icing on the cake. Watching the match, eating snacks, playing bluff and uno the time flew away and it was around 2 am again.
*FYI - We just slept for 15 hours in the entire trip*

Day 4

I have no clue what happened this day ! No wasn't a dope effect but this day ended pretty quickly. We kept travelling, stopped at the places that were looking nice, captured a zillion photographs and again started travelling.

The day ended at 10 PM when we reached our hotel in Dharamshala.

The balcony of the hotel

Wait .. just the Day ended, the Night was young. As soon as the clock struck midnight, April Fool's Day began. We had to pull out a prank, I don't have the scope the express it in details but the bottomline is we were pretty successful in scaring the shit out of one of us *Taking his name would get me in trouble*, Special thanks to Varsha and her talent of looking like a ghost when needed.

Day 5

This day was the best in terms of action. We went many places. Firstly it was the waterfall of Mclodganj. Heavy vehicles were not allowed to go till the spot so we had to walk 3 KMs .. sounds draining but the aesthetics were dominant enough to not make us feel tired.

The water was freezing but still we went inside and had fun for a good one hour.

Chilled waterfall

Next we went for a spiritual shower in the nearby Buddhist temple and also got the previlage to see Dalai Lama (Haina, Vivek ?). The peace at the temple was amazing and we finally got to rotate those cylindrical pipes, feels good.

Next on our itinerary was the most beautiful cricket stadium of India and definitely one of the best in the world. We had some problems at first but after liaising with the guard, he let us in.

The day was nearing an end .. we stopped at places that attracted us. And after a while the sad declaration came by, "Chalo abb Back to Delhi". The words went like a bullet through her hearts *Even Sanket couldn't stop this by his hand*.

It was late at night, we were evaluating the trip and getting sad by the fact that "Kal se saala sab boring". Even the Peppy item numbers were replaced by sad senti songs *Special mention to Madari - Vishal Dadlani ft. Clinton Cejero*. We were scheduled to reach Delhi by 8 AM.

Day 6

This day was supposed to be the shortest .. but wait, God had different plans. At 5 AM we hear a thumping noise and the Amitabh Bacchan voice of the tempo-traveller was replaced by the meek voice of Tusshar Kapoor. The vehicle got borke down in the middle of the highway.

One hour passed .. Another one gone .. Yet another one ran past us but there was no sign of maintenance. We all were getting desperate and restless at the start. But after a while we accepted our fate and were relieved *Found a washroom at nearby Petrol Pump*. Everyone was still upset but one of us was excited for reasons not to be told in public.

En-route Delhi

Finally, the vehicle was up and running at around 12 PM. We were still 160 KMs away from Delhi. We had a last lunch together and then finally sat in again for the actual last leg of the trip. We were all home by 6 PM.

Conclusion

The 6 days went past us like 6 hours but breaks should be like that only. We were all caught in the daily madness and rush of Delhi, spending time together with friends at a place like that is really one should do once every year. If you haven't ..

Pack your Bags .. Ask me for Logistics !

Demystifying Bhangarh, the Haunted Fort.

One of the most infamous place for the supernatural experiences, Bhangarh is a place near Dausa a remote village of Rajasthan. For all of those who don't know me, I would like to establish some credibility for my post so .. I am a journalism student and we planned to visit Bhangarh on a Amavasya Ki Raat to decode the things said about that place. I am not from the Tourism Department of Rajasthan so you can trust on my experiences and facts that I present to you. Not to pat on my own back , but this could be the most objective experience of Bhangarh.

Bhangarh Fort

We forgot to take a DSLR , so the pictures won't be saying the 1000 words which I wanted to tell , manage please. Also I never proof-read so manage my grammatical errors and typos !

Planning and Logistics

I got to know about Bhangarh when I was in first year of my college and wanted to go their as soon as possible, so finally went there .... In the final year year of my college. The Google maps show a distance of 240 Kms from Delhi to the 'land of Ghosts'.

We were six friends and unfortunately the car we had that day was a five seater, a special thanks to the Winters for making the trip bearable. We got aboard on set sail around 5 PM. *Still a car , not a boat*

The Journey

It was just like a normal night-out-drive on NH-8 but the unusual started when we took a less traveled cut towards Bhangarh leaving the comfort of a National Highway and heading towards a road with tall pointy grass on both sides .. not to forget the occasional bumps that fished for phrases like "oo Bhencho" "Saale Aandha hai kya " and "Yaar wapas ghar bhi jana hai".

Enroute Bhangarh

As we inched closer to the destination the path shrinked and worsened, a road where you cannot drive at a speed more than 10 Km/hr. We were not scared of the Ghosts as of now but the thought of a robbery , a gang of Dacoits were giving us enough thrill. A special momento to the farmer who crossed the road with his huge Camel and made us stop our car. *Making us suspicious about his intentions and yes crapping our pants too*.  In the way we saw many unusual things like Dogs, Sign Boards, Reflectors etc .. Everything was looking scary to sum up I would quote myself from that moment "Saala Delhi mein Chudail bhi saamne aa jaye to bologe marna hai kya ? Hatt samne se .. and yahan har cheez ko Chudail samajh rahe hai".

With the help of an experienced Smartphone, being the only one who knew the way he reached our destination and he reached his i.e "Battry Low, Connect Charger".

"Chale Kya ? .. Ruko Saalo" Moments

So we were in front of the humongous fort gate .. No fucking trace of lights ! Fogs on our window, Car lights off and the debate started, "Kya Kare Abb". We never did this kind of serious discussion for even our college assignments but this was special. Finally, we gathered some courage and opened the car gates .. It was ok , not much to fear from.

It was 20 seconds .. We hear a howl and a drizzle comes out of nowhere ... trust me It would have been the world record for the fastest time 6 boys gets into a Swift. A bit too embarassed but I latched on my friend on the first seat like Shaggy used to on Scooby Doo *Seriously , Exactly the same*.

Dausa

We decided to go back a bit . There was this Chaiwalla *Anil Kapoor has ruined the word* 6 kms away from the fort and there was civilization. *This place was very crucial for us , we would come back here again later in the story*. We decided to talk to the locals just like they do in a horror movie and to our surprise they replied as they do in horror movie. "Aage mat jana saab .. acha nahi hoga" was the very first suggestion, however we sat there had Chai and Sutta and started conversing with them. Thier point was rational "Bhoot woot ka pata nahi par jungali janwar zaroor milte hai aage .. Wo maar dete hai logo ko aur naam bhoot pe aa jata hai". This statement fueled courage in all of us and the mutual consense was to go immediately back in the fort.

First Experience

So in 10 Minutes we were again in front of the fort .. bit more confident.

Gates are closed after Sunset

As soon as we turned the engine off one of us said "BC .. Handbreak chod" the driver *Not actually a driver* said he didn't do anything .. he felt the car moving towards the gate .. soon did another one .. then I did and then did the fourth one , Coincidence ? Out of the Six of us 4 felt that , the only to not to experience that was a guy who was sleeping at the back seat and the guy who was driving the car and checking how much diesel was left.

The friend who was at the driver seat obviously thought we were kidding and refused to go back this time .. however after a couple of "Maa Kasam bhai" and "Chal Nahi to teri maa ***" he finally reversed the car , for the second time !

The safe base camp that was 6 Kms ago was our hault again .. This time we saw a Policeman. We talked about the fort he said "Agar Zada hi shauk hai Bhoot dekhne ka to main raasta btata hoon andar jaane ka .. Kile ke darwaze to 5 baje tak khulenge".

In hesitation we were going to say "Rhene Do Bhai" but the braveass driver , the friend who didn't feel anything yet, said "Haa Uncle btao jaldi". You gotta appreciate his convincing skill and the influence of his was much more that Kejriwal and Modi combined .. You don't easily convince 5 people to go back in the worlds top haunted fort that has the reputation of "Those who goes after Sunset never comes back" *Check Google*.

Here is the audio , mind the gaalis.
And the time was fictitious in this.

*Sorry Right now I am not able to upload it , would notify you after updating*

Doing Chutiyap   Going in the Fort

We sneaked in , I cannot believe I was that brave and stupid to that just the another night. Each step was as heavy and small as we take exiting a crowed metro at Rajiv Chwok. I thoght I was an atheist but then I chanted "Jai Siya Ram" we murmured it after every "strange noise".

I don't know what was it, but we heard
1) Howls.
2) Strange animal noises.
3) Women Laughing (YES, very far away but yes we did)
4) A friend saying "Wapas Chalo Saalo , Subah Aayenge"
FYI, The last one was me.

But we continued exploring the place , which we cannot stay at all. I never felt so much gratitude for the Flashlight App on Android , it was the only thing from which we could see whats ahead.

Bhangarh Fort

Every person makes mistake , we were six .. so there was one for each one

1) Me : Planning the Trip.
2) Sanket : Forgetting the DSLR
3) Zishaan : Taking us in.
4) Ajay : Not Taking any Torches.
5) Akhil : Eating all we had.
6) Sagar : No baseball bats or Sticks.

The ones that hurt us deeply were Sanket and Ajay and Sagar's.

In case a wild animal attacks we would first move the 5 inch mobile in all direction to know its location and then throw small pebbles we picked on the way in after hearing the noises. *C'mon Salute Us*

The Four Hours in the Fort.

I never wished to see the sun so desperately, it was very dark and we walking in an unknown place. However by God's grace we didn't had any encounter with wild animals and those laughing women.
The four hours felt like forty but then finally the morning arrived.

We were alive ! We did it. *Next Bharat Ratna for us*

Now the place looked entirely different , the haunted was replaced by amazing , beautiful , magnificent. The place was so aesthetic that I cannot find words to describe it.

Bhangarh Fort Haunted

Moral

There is no such thing as Ghosts, Sorry if you read this just before your trip but it is true. The experiences we had must have been the hallucination of our mind following the stories of the place. But the noises and the experiences were true. May be we were just lucky and there are Ghosts .. Who Knows !

But , Bhangarh is a "must go before you die" place for sure.

Plan a trip , conquer your curiosity.

Power .. Politics : Transformation of 4 Days.

It was the Delhi election day, every morning chill was just settling down. I saw a weak man in camouflage raising his hand and greeting everybody in a very typical yet amateur Political way as I was waiting for my turn to vote in the queue. After a bit of recollection I recognized him, he was Surender Singh the AAP candidate for Delhi Cantt.

I knew about his heroics in the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks and the plight he went through after it, I was excited .. thrilled, to be more precise.  I had the inner urge to talk to him but till the time I could think of my first words to start the conversation, he went past me and started meeting other voters in the queue. The queue was long and I was not in a mood to get out of it after being so close to the polling both. A bit clueless being a first time voter, I proceeded and registered my vote.

"Finally, I am a responsible citizen" the voice in my head said as I looked at the dark ink mark on my finger. I was heading home but I caught Surender Singh talking to some people just outside the election center. I had to talk to him, following my instincts I went up to him and even before I could think of saying something he spoke with a Haryanvi dialect, "Aur Bhai Daal Diya Vote ?". "Aapko hi diya hai .. abb nirash na karna" I replied with a chuckle. "Arey Sewa ka mauka to do aap" he said with his hand patting me on back and assuring me I voted for the right candidate.

Aam Aadmi Party Delhi Cantt

We were just some seconds in the conversation and it was hindered by a policeman , late in his 30s. "Oye yahan gate ke saamne khade mat ho .. chalo yahan se" shouted the man with a huge beer-belly. Surender Singh in a very calm and composite manner explained him "Bhai .. Main Pravakta hoon Aam Aadmi Party ka" to this the Inspector reacted a bit more angrily saying "Koi Bhi ho .. chalo yahan se , Duty karne do hume", the retired Commando very humbly said ,"Chalo bhai haat rahe hai" and moved aside.

Its been five days, the new candidate defeated the mighty Karan Singh Tanwar and is now the ruling the Delhi Cantonment Constituency for Aam Aadmi Party. The man who fought bravely for 14 years in wars and operations like Kargil War, Operation Parakram, Operation Sadbhavna and Operation Black Thunder was freed of his duty when he was injured by an enemy grenade, losing his hearing ability.

The man who was nothing a few days ago has now got everybody's attention, the party name justifies the representatives of its, it would be really interesting to watch that policeman coming face to face with Surender Singh now , the "Aam Aadmi" turned VIP.

Increasing Rapes : Chandramuki Chautala to join Delhi Police .

Rape City , Delhi :

"The only thing they (Delhi Police) learnt from Nirbhaya's case was to ill treat the peace protest that happen afterwards" , said a disturbed Prime Minister . * YES HE TALKED , imagine how grave the situation is * .

PM disturbed Gudiya Rape Delhi

The reports of Rapes are coming on a regular basis , but the recent one that got the whole nation's attention was the brutality with a 5 year old girl . The kid was traumatized for as long as three days and had severe wounds in her genitals .

A 200 ml hair oil bottle and two Candles stuffed  in her private parts .

The inglorious Police were already being criticized for not taking proper and quick action , to make it worse the Parents of the "victim" slapped even more shameful allegations on the state Police . "They offered me 2,000 Rs to hush up saying I should not make the case public and be happy that at least she is alive ." *True Story*

Delhi Rape Gudiya Protest

"I am having a Deja-vu , We would protest , They would imply Sec-144 A , Fast Track court would take the cases and ? . And nothing after a month or so again this would happen . Why can't you hang the rapist right here , right now ? ." argued 22 year old Swati .

We tried to contact the CM , Sheila Dikshit but she was not home . Maybe is busy filling the Water Cannons up or practicing a speech written by her PR person .

The Police is now pro-active , no not against the crime . The security at Rashtrapati Bhavan has been increased by many folds , they learn from the past but just wrong bits .

The PM further said , "The ACP of Gandhi Nagar has been suspended and I woud like to inform you that we have elected Chandramuki Chautala from FIR to take his place . I have seen her solve many cases , hope she could do that here also like she did in Imaan Chowki ." The reporters were quite amazed by PM , but they were happy that at least he is concerned .

Rape Delhi FIR

Rahul Baba was soon to join the bandwagon , "ACP and Daya should also be a part of Delhi Police , Daya Kisi ko ek baar maarta hai to fir wo to direct jail mein hi jaata hai ." He was hoping for another outrage against him but seems the online world is now accustomed to his stupidity .

However , many legal experts are still backing the PM , "What Delhi needs now  is a Strong Woman who can feel the emotions of the people and act aptly , Moreover she would feel home with so many constables with broken English and a Bear Belly ."

Navjot Singh Pidu talked to Faking News , "Guru Sharam Ki Baat Hai Ye , Kya Kar Rahi hai Police ? Police Station mein baith ke IPL dekh Rahi Hai ? . Wo bhi din bhar Kahan aata Hai , Highlights bhi dekhte ho ? "

Many satellite dish companies capitalized by introducing their Live tv recording feature with the tagline "Harworking Indians . For those who don't have time to watch TV " .

We got in touch with Woman of the moment , Chautala ,
"Bhai Yo Jo Ho Raha See Dilli Mein , Bada Galat Ho Riha Hai . Ab main aa Gayi hun , aisa Danda Chalaungi Ke Saale Sab Mardo ki akal Neeche se Jo Hai , Upar aa jayegi . Kya Kehte hai Tumhara .. Right Piiilace mein . Ha . "

The constable with her ended the conversation with ,
"Diilhi Abb Nahi Karegi Crime Sehen is the , Mom aake karengi Rapists Ki Maa-Bhen is the . "

Hills , Rivers and Friends

Well , You know the ingredients mentioned above when mixed in a right proportion could result in a killer dish . ( Sorry Master-chef Fans , That is all I would talk about cooking )

As you would have guessed (Most of you) , this post is about my trip to Rishiskesh and Haridwar .

The Strongest Bonds are made in Heaven .
Well ,  That was the very basic idea with which we planned a trip to the Heaven's replica .

The experiences and lessons we learn t were invaluable , It is not possible to describe it into words .

Yeah , but I am giving it a shot ;)

Lets look at it day by day ..

Day 0

"Bhot Ho Gaya Salo abb toh Kahin Ki Trip Bnao" , you might have heard these words often while hanging out with your friends . Well , it started off from the same point .
Out of no where , the next day  I saw  a list with the names and the amount due .
Being a guy who was held back from playing Cricket just because of the fear of hitting by the ball , I really didn't had much hope of my Dad's approval .
However  , with the garnishing of some white lies I asked my Father about the "Educational Trip" .
I don't know if my stars were aligned perfectly or was it just the alcohol , but my Dad just gave a green signal without even  a second thought .

Day 1

The little doors of the cage opened ,  we were all set to take our first independent step ..
We were all pumped up and excited but we forgot one thing ! ...
We were going by Indian Railways !!
The excitement drained out by each passing minute on that big Station clock .

Indian Railways Station Clock

Finally , after almost 110 Minutes of delay our train arrived .. We were charged up ..

Sleeping , Eating , Singing , Teasing , Beating we had so much to do that the six hour journey felt like seconds .
We reached the Holy (Read Dirty) Haridwar Railway Station around 11 P.M .

Did I mention we were 13 friends together ? Never mind , so out of the total only 2 % were feeling sleepy . We just threw our stuff in the Hote Room and went on to Harki Podi  for taking a dip . AT MIDNIGHT ..
The freezing water however gently whispered in our ears , "You Sure ?" .
The consensual answer of the majority was a No , a big fat No .

So , After just having a cold feat . I mean literally cold feat by putting them in the river we headed back to our place . Also important to mention the Tea Break we took in between .

This all was so new to most of us that we were not believing it is actually real ! It was really difficult to sleep for the soul , but the mind was nagging the eyes for not doing so ..

I was about to surrender but then there are friends ! I would have uttered some hurtful stuff back then , but  I really enjoyed the 4 am chats on the top of the roof .

The alarm of the next day was set at 6 am , we had to leave for Rishikesh for camping . I decided to capitalize on the 2 hours window , but ended up a Goat for a Prank . Its good that I don't get scared easily ;)

Day 2

After the *Full of* Sound sleep of first day , We woke up tired but the imagination of putting up in a camp and sitting next to a bonfire worked as an antidote .

Fighting for "Who would go next in the Washroom ?" we got ready . Ok it may sound a bit filmy but yes we were feeling like we are in Roadies and we have set out for our next task .

Nothing is better than an open car with stereos blaring out loud music  for traveling in such places , Unfortunately our trip was not sponsored by Karan Johar . But , a two side open auto with "Fevicol Se" leaking out of the speakers was close enough .

Singing , Dancing , Ducking down on bumpy roads we reached Rishikesh . It was an hour drive but the minutes passed like words in a rap song .

"Paddy Adventures" , Yes the company that arranged the rafting and camping programmes for us *Sir , Advertising Partner , Can I  ?" . I don't know whether we were VIPs or Paddy Bhai is that generous for all but he was there to Welcome us in Rishikesh itself .

Enough of details , next thing we did was boarded on Safaris for going to the Camps , A tipsy turny road led us to the venue . The journey was full of "OO BC" , "Awww" *Yes Girls* and "Wo Dekh Yaaar" , You can imagine the landscape !

Cool Hangout

As soon as we stuffed our luggage in our respective tents , we hit the shores . Wearing life jackets , we entered the waves also . It was just amazing , the cold , pure water of Ganga was soothing the tired soul of ours .

Cool Hangout College

After the fun and frolics of a couple of hours , we returned to our camps * Barely 10 m from the river* . It was lunch time , Must appreciate the food *Paddy Bhai I deserve some profit ;) * .

The afternoon saw us watching beach volleyball  and sitting on the shores and throwing pebbles in the river .

Cute Couple on Beach

Did i describe the view from the tent ? Just like the painting we use to make in our Kinder-Garten times , a huge Hill behind which the sun sets a free flowing river and some more hills in the close vicinity .

Tent in Rishikesh

Finally came the bonfire time , with snacks and stories of ghosts nothing could have been more comfortable than the warmth of the fire .
Well , I don't believe in Ghosts and so didn't my friends in Sleeping . To be precise , the five of them . It was adventure time , around the storke of midnight we decided to go for a stroll near the beach area . Went a little too far , then I realized the light emitted from the lantern in my hand , Yeah I had to put in efforts . I now know why wild animals killed a lot of people in the olden times !

Bonfire in Rishikesh

After a successful prank of one , the rest were scared . After abusing him we decided to go back to the base camp *Always Wanted to Say That* . The scenary I must say was life the sets of Twilight , The big full moon ahead and Hills with gaint trees around .
Finally , after playing some more pranks we surrendered to sleep .
Day 3 .

Rafting Day .

The day all of us were waiting for .

Rafting in Rishikesh

After just some introductory lessons we boarded in our raft . Rafting doesn't sound much cool , Well its full name is WHITE WATER RAFTING . Seems a big thing now , hai na ?
There was one "Raft Guy" with us , the good thing about him was he was always smiling *It annoyed us later , Will tell you* . The journey started with "Twinkle Twinkle little star , Ganga Maiyya Super Star" other such brilliant work of poetry :p

Rafting Rishikesh

It was going all well in the plain water , but as soon as the first rapid *Area with gigantic waves* came my shorts were wet even from the inside . The cold water just splashed us to a corner of the raft , although the "Raft Guy" managed to save it from flipping .

Then we crossed some more Rapids , now the fear was being transformed into the adrenaline rush and we were enjoying . Then came plain waters , our "Raft Guy" told us to jump out of the raft .

Rafting

Yes , now we were annoyed by his smile . Terrified , holding the ropes of the raft we asked "Bhaiyaa , Koi Dubb Jaye to Aap Bachane Jate Ho Na ?" he with a smile and a modest face replied "Nahi , bhaiyaa . Nahi Aayenge" .
However , we gathered the courage and left the ropes . A.M.A.Z.I.N.G was the word *Actually it was Bhencho* , it was like floating on the clouds *Life Jackets* . Beneath us was the 80 ft. river .
After 15 minutes of "Swimming" he pulled us back on the raft . By now , we started to love  him a little less . Fair Enough No ?
The 16 KMs felt barley 60 Meters , and next we know we were lifting our raft out of water .
That day we stayed in Rishikesh itself , Thanks again Paddy Bhai the resort you recommended us was awesome . I fear they would not think of us the same way ;) , Well there were few complaints about the ruckus we created on a regular basis .

Day 4

The last day , we went back to Haridwar . The three days were for us , this day we thought of buying Souvenirs for family and friends and Girlfriends *Not Me* . The first thing you can take as souvenir from Haridwar is the holy "GangaJal" *Damn You Student of the Year* , we took it and went shopping for other handicrafts and clothes .
The next day we had our train at 5 AM .
"Koi Nahi Soyega Aaj Saala" was the motto of the night , Yes most of them still slept .

Day 5

This time we used all of our seats , came back sleeping the whole journey .

Days of Distress

Well , Day 6 .. 7 .. 15 .. 18 . Till the very recent present we suffered from hangover . Chill Parents , the Holiday Hangover .
Alcohol is banned in Haridwar for its the only place where you can get high by being sane .

Conclusion

The five days taught us the lessons we would have not learn in a 5 years span . You gotta take the wind by your own little wings if you want to rule the sky later .
Parents and Teachers can just feed you with knowledge , only friends can experiment it with you .
